Use of Social Media Presences
We are represented with online presences on the social networks and platforms listed below. These presences serve to communicate directly with customers, prospects, and users. Furthermore, the appearances serve the purpose of advertising our products and services.
When accessing our social media presences, your data may be automatically collected and stored for advertising and market research purposes. Usage profiles are created from this data using pseudonyms. These can be used, for example, to display interest-based advertising to you both within and outside the platforms. For this purpose, cookies are regularly used that enable the recognition of an internet browser and in which your interests and usage behavior are stored.
The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR due to the legitimate interest in direct communication with users and the optimization of the design of our online presence.
If you have given your consent to the operators of the respective social media platforms for the processing of your data, e.g. by ticking a checkbox, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with the operator of the respective platform without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.
The assertion of data subject rights as well as requests for information can be most effectively directed directly to the providers of the platforms, as only they have access to your data, can take immediate action, and provide information. Of course, we will assist you if needed.
Further information on the terms of use and data protection of the respective platform, as well as a detailed description of the further data processing and the respective options to object, can be found on the providers' pages at:
